Our Mission

At Round, we're putting finance and operations on autopilot. Not another CFO co-pilot - real workflows that think, act, and execute across tools, protocols, and banking rails.

We're combining the power of infrastructure with AI to push the frontiers of what's possible in finance.

Finance teams at SMEs and mid-market companies still run on spreadsheets, email chasing, and manual processes. We're replacing that with an AI-powered financial OS: treasury, payments, AP, FX, and AI agents, all in one platform. Hundreds of businesses already run their finance on Round, and we're backed by leading early-stage VC firms and scouts from a16z, Sequoia, Accel, and Atomico.

We're growing quickly in the UK, and the US is next.

The basics

  • 📍 Location: London
  • 💰 Competitive salary + generous equity
  • 🏖️ 24 days annual leave plus bank holidays
  • 🍜 Weekly team lunch, annual offsites, brand new MacBook + whatever else you need to do your job effectively
  • About the role

You'll become an integral part of the team. Day to day, you'll monitor, fix and run the products that power Round, and you'll be the person everyone turns to for how things actually work across them.

    What you'll do

Run product operations day to day

  • Monitor withdrawals and payments across our Treasury, Savings and Business Account products, and investigate and fix anything that fails or looks wrong.
  • Monitor incoming customer deposits and resolve exceptions with our banking and investment partners.
  • Act as the team's go-to on money movement: where a payment is, why it hasn't arrived, and what happens next.
  • Support month-end processes, including customer queries on statements and fees.
  • Look after our customers

  • Own day-to-day customer support across all products, answering questions quickly and clearly and following them through to resolution.
  • Spot recurring issues and feed them back to the product and tech teams so they get fixed at the source.
  • Onboard new customers

  • Carry out first-line KYC/KYB reviews of companies, directors and beneficial owners, escalating higher-risk or unusual cases to compliance. Full training is provided.
  • Track and improve how we operate

  • Track key operational and onboarding metrics, such as failed payments, exceptions and time to resolve.
  • Document how things work and keep our playbooks up to date.
  • Work with the Head of Product Operations on the workflows and automations that remove manual work, improve and test them in practice.
  • Own and improve

  • Once you have been running the day-to-day for some time, it'll be for you to improve it as we continue to scale.
  • What we look for

You go deep before you go fast. The people who make the biggest difference here are the ones who take the time to understand how things actually work from three angles: how a payment moves from the customer's account through our partners, what the customer sees at each step, and roughly what's happening in the technical workflow underneath. When a workflow fails, you want to know why, not just how to clear it. That depth is what makes you the person the rest of the team comes to, and it's what lets you fix the problem rather than the symptom.

If it needs doing, you pick it up.We're a small team, and plenty of problems don't belong neatly to anyone. You don't wait to be asked, and "not my area" isn't in your vocabulary. You jump on things that need resolving, see them through, and tell people when they're done. You care about getting things over the line, and you're comfortable working at the pace that takes.

Customers come first. You respond quickly, explain clearly, and follow up without being chased. When something goes wrong, the customer hears from us before they have to ask.

    About you

  • Highly curious: You can't leave a "why" alone. When you meet a new system, product or process, you want to understand how it works end to end, and you ask questions until you do.
  • Meticulous: You notice the small discrepancy everyone else missed, whether that's a payment off or a status that doesn't quite make sense. You check your own work before anyone else has to.
  • A store of knowledge: You remember how things work and why decisions were made, and you write it down so others can find it. Over time, people come to you first.
  • High standards, sustained: You've done something demanding and done it well, whether that was academic, professional or something else entirely. You know what it takes to keep quality high when the workload is heavy, and you enjoy the challenge.
  • Comfortable with data and automation: You're able to understand and grasp data models and ideally have some SQL. You're interested in the tools and automations that make repetitive work disappear. You can upskill in new tooling fast.
  • Relevant grounding is a plus, not a must: One to three years in operations, payments, fintech or financial services is useful. Experience with KYC/AML is a genuine advantage, but we'll train you on our onboarding and review procedures. Curiosity and rigour matter more than the exact background.
