Role Overview:
We are looking for a dedicated Robotics Engineer specializing in State Estimation and Calibration to join our team. This role requires a deep understanding of robotics, sensor fusion, and calibration techniques to ensure high precision and reliability in our robotic systems. You will be instrumental in enhancing the accuracy of our robotic systems through innovative state estimation methodologies.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and implement state estimation algorithms to improve the accuracy and reliability of our autonomous systems.
Develop calibration methods for multi-sensor systems used in autonomous robots.
Optimize algorithms for real-time performance in harsh environments.
Work closely with the AI and robotics teams to integrate state estimation solutions.
Participate in the full software development lifecycle, from research and design to implementation and maintenance.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Robotics, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
Strong programming skills in Python or C++.
Proven experience in sensor fusion, state estimation, or calibration of robotic systems.
Solid understanding of machine learning and algorithms related to robotics.
Ability to troubleshoot complex systems and collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams.
Preferred Skills:
PhD in a related field or equivalent professional experience.
Experience with IMUs, GPS, and other navigation sensors.
Familiarity with robotics simulation software.
Previous experience in a startup or dynamic R&D environment.
