Role Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join our fast-growing sales team. As an SDR at SensorFlow, you will proactively identify and qualify potential customers, nurture relationships, and set high-quality meetings for our Account Executives. This role reports directly to Luke Milligan, AVP of Sales, providing direct mentorship and exposure to advanced sales strategies in the smart building technology sector.

Responsibilities

  • Research and identify target prospects across key verticals (hospitality, commercial real estate, etc.) using tools like LinkedIn Sales Navigator and CRM databases
  • Launch multi-channel outreach campaigns (calls, emails, LinkedIn) to engage decision makers
  • Conduct discovery calls to understand needs, pain points, and buying readiness
  • Use qualification frameworks (such as BANT or MEDDIC) to ensure prospects fit SensorFlow’s Ideal Customer Profile (ICP)
  • Schedule product demos and consultative sessions for Account Executives, ensuring seamless handovers
  • Log activities, update lead status, and track interactions in HubSpot (or applicable CRM) to maintain accurate data for forecasting
  • Collaborate closely with Sales and Marketing teams, providing feedback on campaign performance and market insights
  • Meet and exceed daily, weekly, and monthly KPIs tied to outreach activities, qualified opportunities, and meetings booked

Requirements

  • 5+ years in a B2B sales or lead generation role (SDR, BDR, Inside Sales), ideally in SaaS, IoT, or energy solutions; outstanding fresh graduates will also be considered
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with strong listening and persuasive outreach abilities
  • Comfortable using CRM systems, email sequencing tools, and sales engagement platforms
  • Competitive, ambitious, and thrives in a target-driven environment
  • Quick learner with a strong interest in emerging technology, sustainability, and smart automation
