Overview

As a Sales Development Representative at SensorFlow, you will be on the frontlines of our growth engine. Your primary mission is to generate pipeline through high-volume outreach, qualify leads rigorously, and ensure meetings are held and advanced into sales-qualified opportunities (SQLs). You will directly impact revenue by identifying potential hotel partners, engaging decision-makers, and setting up our sales team for success.

Core Responsibilities

Prospecting & Outreach

  • Make a high volume of outbound calls daily to hospitality decision-makers (hotel owners, GMs, engineers, and procurement teams).
  • Use multiple channels (calls, emails, LinkedIn, events, referrals, ads) to engage prospects.
  • Maintain persistence and consistency in follow-ups to maximise connection rates.
  • Research target accounts to personalise outreach and identify key stakeholders.

Lead Qualification & Meeting Success

  • Qualify all leads based on set criteria.
  • Confirm prospect fit against SensorFlow’s ideal customer profile (hotel size, region, systems, etc.).
  • Book and secure meetings with qualified prospects; ensure they attend through proactive reminders and follow-ups.
  • Update sales personnel with all relevant lead context to enable productive first meetings.

Pipeline Building & Nurturing

  • Build and nurture early-stage relationships with hotels showing interest but not yet ready to buy.
  • Warm up accounts through value-based engagement (insights, relevant case studies, industry updates).
  • Keep unqualified or stalled leads in cadence for future reactivation.

Collaboration with Sales

  • Partner with sales personnel to ensure seamless handover of qualified leads.
  • Provide detailed notes, account intelligence, and call outcomes in CRM for smooth progression.
  • Share field insights (objections, competitor mentions, market trends) with sales and marketing.

Tracking & Reporting

  • Log all activities (calls, emails, meetings booked) in CRM with precision.
  • Consistently meet or exceed daily, weekly, and monthly activity/SQL targets.
  • Report on key metrics: calls made, connections, meetings booked, meetings held, SQL conversion, and pipeline contribution.

Expectations

  • Drive activity target as set.
  • Consistently hit targets for meetings booked and SQLs generated.
  • Develop a strong working knowledge of SensorFlow’s solutions and hotel energy management challenges.
  • Show positivity and a results-driven mindset in a high-activity sales environment.
  • Leverage CRM and automation tools to work efficiently.
  • Maintain professionalism, persistence, and urgency in every interaction.

Your Role in SensorFlow’s Success

You are the first point of contact between SensorFlow and prospective hotel clients. By filling the pipeline with well-qualified opportunities, you lay the groundwork for closing deals and expanding SensorFlow’s presence in the hospitality industry. Your performance will directly influence our ability to scale, hit revenue targets, and bring SensorFlow’s energy-saving solutions to more hotels globally.
