Role Summary

We are seeking a high-potential, hands-on CFO to lead SepPure’s financial strategy, capital planning, and fundraising activities during a critical growth phase. This role is well-suited for candidates with backgrounds in investment banking, private equity, venture capital, M&A, or corporate finance who are ready to transition from advisory or deal-side roles into a senior operating position with real ownership and accountability. The CFO will work closely with the CEO and Board on capital structure, financing strategy, investor engagement, and long-term value creation, while remaining directly involved in financial modelling, reporting, and execution.

Responsibilities

Financial Strategy & Capital Structure

  • Own and drive the company’s overall financial strategy, capital structure, and funding roadmap.

  • Build and maintain integrated financial models covering growth scenarios, dilution, CAPEX, OPEX, and liquidity.

  • Lead capital budgeting, cash flow planning, and capital allocation decisions.

Fundraising, Financing & Transactions

  • Act as a core contributor to equity fundraising.

  • Prepare investor materials, financial models, and due diligence documentation.

  • Work directly with banks, lenders, and financial institutions on debt facilities, grants, and structured financing.

  • Support evaluation of strategic investments, partnerships, or M&A opportunities where relevant.

Investor, Board & Stakeholder Engagement

  • Prepare board packs, investor updates, and financing memoranda.

  • Present financial performance, projections, and capital plans to investors and lenders.

  • Support negotiations with investors, banks, and strategic partners.

Financial Planning, Reporting & Controls

  • Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.

  • Ensure timely and accurate financial statements and management accounts.

  • Put in place fit-for-purpose financial controls and processes appropriate for a growing company.

  • Provide financial insight to support strategic and operational decision-making across the business.

Qualification & Experience

  • 3–5 years of relevant experience in investment banking, private equity, venture capital, or corporate finance.

  • MBA from a recognised university or business school is strongly preferred.

  • Strong financial modelling, valuation, and analytical skills.

  • Prior exposure to fundraising, deal execution, or transaction support.

  • Experience in industrial, manufacturing, CleanTech, or deep-tech environments is an advantage but not mandatory.
