After spending a lot of time in factories environments, we saw the pain it was to make sure products were safe. Traditional quality control has heavy constraints and long waiting times. To change that, we decided to build Spore.Bio, a new generation of microbiological testing.

About the role
Joining our Go-to-market team as Technical Sales & Partnership Specialist you’ll drive some of the most important commercial and strategic relationships at Spore.Bio. You’ll focus on early customers in Food and Beverage, Cosmetics, and Pharma, while also opening key partnerships across the life science ecosystem. Your work will support our mission to bring a new generation of rapid microbiology diagnostics to industrial environments.
In this role, you’ll manage the full sales cycle from prospecting through qualification and pre-launch commitments. You’ll engage scientific, operational, and business stakeholders in order to understand their workflows and position Spore.Bio as a high-value solution for microbiology testing.
Your ability to build trust, navigate multi-stakeholder conversations, and deliver a clear scientific and commercial narrative will directly contribute to our go-to-market success.
This role reports directly to the CEO and works hand in hand with him to build high impact decisions across sales, partnerships, and customer engagement.What You’ll Do
- Own the full end-to-end sales process: prospecting, outreach, qualification, and pilot preparation
- Build credible relationships with QC and microbiology teams, as well as senior stakeholders at customer companies
- Deliver tailored demos and proposals that clearly communicate our diagnostic value
- Run cold outreach campaigns to activate new markets and expand our pipeline
- Identify and develop strategic partnerships with life science and diagnostic players
- Collaborate with product, science, and technical teams to scope pilots and integrations
- Lead pricing and early contracting discussions with prospective customers and stakeholders
- Bring field insights that shape our messaging, positioning, operations, and commercial playbook
- Maintain accurate CRM records, forecasts, and pipeline updates
- Represent Spore.Bio at industry events, trade fairs, and customer visits
About you
Required qualifications/ experience :
We value curiosity, initiative, and a growth mindset. Not every box needs to be ticked to apply.
- Around 3-5 years of experience in medical devices, diagnostics, or lab technologies
- Scientific grounding in life sciences or medical technology
- Comfort owning and running outreach campaigns and cold contacting
- Ability to engage technical and scientific stakeholders with confidence
- Experience navigating multi-step, multi-stakeholder sales cycles
- A value-driven approach to understanding customer workflows
- Strong communication, structured follow-up, and CRM discipline
- An ownership mindset and comfort in a fast-moving deeptech environment
Bonus points if you have
- Experience launching a science or tech-based product.
- Experience selling to industrial QC labs, microbiology teams, or factory environments
- Background working with life science partnerships or lab equipment vendors
- Exposure to scientific instrumentation, digital lab tools, or industrial biotech
