General Summary

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Participates in the development or improvement of tools and processes to increase efficiency.
  • Participates in training development.
  • Collects, analyzes, and consolidates metrics data.
  • Compiles and organizes budget and project information needed to develop budgets.
  • Participates in the tracking and compiling of engineering expenses and timelines against budgets.
  • Participates in creating budget reports quarterly or as needed.


Level Of Responsibility

  • Working with minimal supervision.
  • Taking responsibility for own work and making decisions with limited impact; impact of decisions is readily apparent; errors made typically only impact timeline (i.e., require additional time to correct).
  • Using verbal and written communication skills to convey basic, routine factual information about day-to-day activities to others who are fully knowledgeable in the subject area.
  • Completing most tasks with multiple steps which can be performed in various orders; some planning and prioritization must occur to complete the tasks effectively; mistakes may result in some rework.
  • Exercising some creativity to troubleshoot technical problems or deal with novel circumstances.
  • Using deductive problem solving to solve moderately complex problems; most problems have defined processes of diagnosis/detection; some limited data analysis may be required.


The Responsibilities Of This Role Include

  • Financial accountability (e.g., does not involve budgeting responsibility).
  • Influence over key organizational decisions.
  • Role in strategic planning.


Additional Responsibilities.

  • Collaborate effectively across multiple business units, internal stakeholders, and external vendors to deliver projects aligned with organizational goals.
  • Draft, review, and manage Statements of Work (SOWs), contracts, and other commercial agreements with third‑party vendors, ensuring clarity on scope, deliverables, SLAs, and commercial terms.
  • Own end‑to‑end vendor management, including vendor onboarding, performance tracking, governance reviews, and issue resolution.
  • Track and manage budgets, spend, and monthly invoices/payments across multiple projects and vendors, ensuring financial accuracy and compliance with approved budgets.
  • Monitor vendor performance against contractual SLAs and KPIs, driving corrective actions and continuous improvement where required.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for vendors, facilitating clear communication, dependency management, and escalation handling.
  • Partner with finance and procurement teams to support cost optimization, forecasting, and variance analysis across vendor engagements.
  • Ensure adherence to organizational policies, compliance requirements, and risk management standards in all vendor engagements.
  • Support renewals, contract amendments, and negotiations to achieve optimal commercial and operational outcomes.


Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Science, or related field.


OR

Associate's degree and 2+ years of relevant work experience.

OR

High School Diploma or equivalent and 4+ years of relevant work experience.
