Detailed Project Description

As a Machine Learning Engineer in Qualcomm’s MLG team, you will focus on embedded AI technology development and ensure efficient execution of AI accelerators on Qualcomm platforms. Your responsibilities include model optimization and deployment, software module design and debugging, performance analysis, and power optimization. You will work closely with hardware, system, and application teams to drive intelligent and high-performance experiences for next-generation devices.

Skills / Experience Required

• Proficient in C/C++ programming languages; experience with Python is a plus.
• Skilled in Linux/Android development environments and toolchains.
• Understanding of embedded hardware computing architecture with system-level analysis capability.
• Hands-on experience with TensorFlow or ONNX frameworks is preferred.
• In-depth understanding of machine learning and deep learning principles (including CNN, RNN, Transformer) and ability to apply them in real projects is highly desirable.
• Proven experience in project-level code refactoring to improve system architecture and code quality is a strong advantage.
  
  
  

Education Requirements

Degree Major, GPA, CoursesMS in Electrical engineering, Electrical and Computer engineering, Software Engineering, or Computer Science

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 2+ years of Software Engineering or related work experience.
  
  
  

OR

Master's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 1+ year of Software Engineering or related work experience.

OR

PhD in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.

• 2+ years of academic or work experience with Programming Language such as C, C++, Java, Python, etc.
