Job Summary

At Qualcomm AI Research Vietnam, the Technical Project Manager plays a critical role in ensuring successful execution of AI-driven projects from inception to delivery. This position focuses on planning, coordinating, and managing cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions on time and within scope. You will work closely with AI researchers, engineers, and stakeholders to translate research outcomes into impactful products and demos, ensuring alignment with business objectives and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Project Planning & Execution: Define project scope, objectives, timelines, and deliverables. Develop detailed project plans and ensure adherence to milestones.
• Delivery Management: Drive end-to-end delivery of AI integration projects, ensuring quality, performance, and timely completion.
• Stakeholder Communication: Act as the primary point of contact for project updates, risks, and dependencies. Maintain clear and consistent communication with internal and external stakeholders.
• Risk & Issue Management: Identify potential risks early, develop mitigation strategies, and resolve issues promptly to keep projects on track.
• Cross-functional Coordination: Collaborate with AI researchers, Android engineers, UX designers, and system teams to ensure seamless integration and delivery.
• Process Improvement: Implement best practices in project management, agile methodologies, and continuous improvement for efficient delivery.
• Documentation & Reporting: Maintain comprehensive documentation of project plans, progress reports, and post-delivery evaluations.
  
  
  

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 3+ years of project management or related work experience.
  
  
  

OR

Associate's degree and 5+ years of project management or related work experience.

OR

High School Diploma or equivalent and 7+ years of project management or related work experience.

• Completed advanced degrees in a relevant field may be substituted for up to two years (Master’s = one year, Doctorate = two years) of work experience.
  
  
  

Requirements

Education & Background

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Project Management, or related field.
• Proven experience in project or delivery management within technology or software development environments.
  
  
  

Technical & Domain Knowledge

• Familiarity with software development lifecycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies.
• Understanding of AI/ML concepts and mobile application development is a plus.
• Ability to manage technical discussions and translate requirements into actionable plans.
  
  
  

Soft Skills

• Strong leadership and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Problem-solving mindset and ability to work in a fast-paced, research-driven environment.
  
  
  

Preferred Qualifications
