General Summary
We are seeking an experienced IT Project Manager to lead delivery of AI and automation initiatives across the Finance organization. This role is responsible for translating business problems into executable project plans, coordinating across IT, data, and business teams, and ensuring solutions are delivered securely, compliantly, and with measurable business value.
The ideal candidate brings strong project management fundamentals combined with experience managing AI‑enabled, data‑driven, or automation programs in a matrixed enterprise environment.
Minimum Qualifications
6+ years of Project Management-relevant work experience without a Bachelor’s degree.
Preferred Qualifications
Provides project analysis, resource allocation and coordination of project activities that may be across functional areas within the organization. Assigns and monitors work of technical personnel, ensuring that project steps are in alignment with business objectives, on-time and within budget. Monitors reliability and any internal issues that appear as a result of the project. Selects, develops, and evaluates personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function.

Pay Range And Other Compensation & Benefits
$123,200.00 - $184,800.00
The above pay scale reflects the broad, minimum to maximum, pay scale for this job code for the location for which it has been posted. Even more importantly, please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Qualcomm. Minimum Qualifications
- 4+ years of Project Management-relevant work experience with a Bachelor's degree.
6+ years of Project Management-relevant work experience without a Bachelor’s degree.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Information Systems, Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
- 5+ years of IT project management experience.
- 3+ years experience working with senior leadership (Director level and above).
- Experience delivering cross-functional projects involving AI, automation, data platforms, or digital transformation.
- Familiarity with AI/ML lifecycle concepts, automation tools, or workflow orchestration platforms.
- Experience managing operating budgets and project financials.
- PMO, PMP, Agile, or Six Sigma Project Management Certification
- Knowledge of Agile frameworks and methodologies, such as Scrum, Kanban, and Lean.
- Experience with Agile tools, such as Jira, Trello, or similar.
- Experience supporting projects within Finance and Accounting environments preferred.
- Own end-to-end delivery of AI and automation initiatives, from intake and scoping through production rollout and post-implementation stabilization.
- Develop and manage project plans, schedules, dependencies, risks, and milestones across multiple concurrent initiatives.
- Drive execution using Agile, hybrid, or waterfall methodologies as appropriate to the solution and stakeholders.
- Gathers stakeholder needs and goals with guidance, and executes communication plan for project team and stakeholders.
- Demonstrates the ability to focus time on the most mission-critical work activities. This includes communicating priorities to others, removing roadblocks that threaten to derail progress, and making timely and difficult decisions about tradeoffs with incomplete information
- Manages and prioritizes the work of the project team by establishing schedules and task assignments, and tracking tasks of team members.
- Partner with functional business process owners, AI technical teams, data, and IT application teams to translate business needs into technical delivery plans.
- Coordinate integration of AI solutions with enterprise systems, workflows, and data platforms, ensuring security, compliance, and scalability standards are met.
- Manage delivery of solutions such as process automation, AI‑assisted analytics, workflow orchestration, and GenAI‑enabled capabilities.
- Track and report business value, ROI, and efficiency gains from AI and automation initiatives.
- Proactively identify delivery risks and drive mitigation plans.
- Serve as the primary point of contact between business, IT, AI, and leadership stakeholders.
- Prepare and deliver executive‑level status updates, risk assessments, and decision materials.
- Ensure projects follow IT, security, data governance, and AI governance standards.
- Facilitates effective communication and collaboration between the project team, functional business owners, IT, and various stakeholders.
- Working under close supervision.
