Qualcomm Hardware Engineers collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop solutions and meet performance requirements.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Engineering, or related field.
- Interpreting wireless specifications and product requirements
- Developing test cases in C/python/TCL/.CMM or similar scripting language
- Collaborate with senior team members to troubleshoot HW/FW/SW issues and find solutions that are documented and shared with internal cross functional teams working on similar products.
- Analysis and support bug fixes during final stages of program to customers
- Communication of status/bugs/issues to leads
- Software and hardware debug of testing issues
- Working with other team members to plan development, testing and maintenance work
- BTech with 1-5 years or MTech with 1-3 years of relevant experience -Preparable ECE
- Proficient in C and python programming skills
- Technical background in wireless communication systems such as cellular, Bluetooth, UWB, WLAN and IEEE 802.15.4 with validation experience
- Familiar with Pre-Silicon and Post Silicon SOC Baremetal/FW based validations including power, performance associated and Automate test execution
- A good understanding of electronic hardware and reading schematics : Possess knowledge of standard lab equipment including Oscilloscope, Spectrum analyzer, logic analyzers, oscilloscope, Bluetooth tester, Protocol analyzers, and RF test equipment
- A good understanding Microcontrollers & Architectures: like Risc V, Andes, ARM
- Technical background in Interfaces: JTAG, J-Link, UART, SPI, I2C, I3C, USB
- Strong debugging skills at the hardware-software boundary using JTAG, serial consoles, and vendor tools
- Self-motivated, adaptable team player
- Comfortable with taking responsibility for their team
