General Summary

Main Responsibilities

Qualcomm's Multimedia R&D and Standards Group is seeking passionate intern candidates for its Computer Vision team in Shanghai, China. The team develops advanced algorithms, architectures and systems for computer vision and machine learning application, enriching the embedded systems for Smartphone, IOT, Automotive, PC, and XR products.

The candidate will have responsibilities including but not limited to:

• Design and implementation of Computer Vision / Machine Learning algo and applications
• Development of concept proving demo on Qualcomm platform
• Optimization of system performance to make the technology ready for commercialization
  
  
  

Skills / Experience Required

• Strong background and experience in Computer Vision technology, such as detection / segmentation / tracking / recognition, with applications in face / human analysis, security (biometrics, foregery detection) and others
• Proficiency in C/C++ or Python is a must.
• Experienced in deep learning model design, pruning, compression, quantization and on-device deployment
• Experience with Qualcomm platform is a plus.
• Experience with Camera framework is a plus.
• Proficiency in English
