General Summary

As a Qualcomm Systems Engineer, you will research, design, develop, simulate, and/or validate systems-level software, hardware, architecture, algorithms, and solutions that enables the development of cutting-edge technology. Qualcomm Systems Engineers collaborate across functional teams to meet and exceed system-level requirements and standards.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 2+ years of Systems Engineering or related work experience.
  
  
  

OR

Master's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 1+ year of Systems Engineering or related work experience.

OR

PhD in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.

Preferred Qualifications

• Proficient in programming in Python, C#, C++ etc.
• MS (research) or Phd in electrical and/or computer science engineering with strong mathematical foundation in:
• conventional & statistical signal and image processing.
• Optimization problems
• Computer vision & machine learning
• Prior experience in the image sensors, camera & imaging science, basic optical systems, ISP is an added advantage
  
  
  

Principal Duties And Responsibilities

• Designing computer vision /image processing for mobile devices
• Designing and evaluating algorithms to be implemented in hardware on software prototypes
• Developing or Optimizing image processing and computer vision algorithms
