General Summary:

Job Overview

Role consists with interfacing with local customers and providing technical support for PC, telephony, AV, network, server, storage, printer and Engineering tools problems in a mode consistent with Qualcomm OneIT standards. Collaborate with regional and global team to maintain an efficient and productive computer operating environment/system to meet the requirements of local customers and business demand. Individual should be able to support a large group of users and complex IT infrastructure environment. Serve as resident expert on 1 or more operating systems or applications.

• Provide onsite technical support of Qualcomm information technology/systems/applications to meet customers requirement, solve customers problems.
• Assist and coordinate with the user community to improve and maintain administrative productivity with regard to solving highly technical PC and network problem for efficient use of those tools including PC relative hardware and software, data communications and telecommunications.
• Responsible for PC service delivery and customer satisfaction.
• PC software image creations and system performance evaluation.
• Collaborate with IT global operation team to provide effective IT support in the area such as Windows, networking, server, storage, IT server room and telecommunications for local customers.
• Collaborate with global engineering IT team to setup, improve and maintain engineering system and application tools for local sites.
• Responsible for gathering, documentation, asset management, deployment and troubleshooting of desktop/laptop and associated software, servers, network, storage etc. IT system.
  
  
  

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 1+ years IT-relevant work experience
  
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• 1 years prior work experience in IT supporting/service area for multi-national company.
• Familiar with client/server, Microsoft windows environment, network, virtual computing environment, AV, structure cabling, mobile platform and apps.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Fluent English in both written and oral.
• Initiative and self-motivated, teamwork, also have the ability to work independently.
• Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE) is a plus.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
  
  
  

Physical Requirements:

• Frequently transports and installs equipment up to 20 lbs.
