General Summary
Exceptional opportunity to work on complex M&A transactions as a part of the Finance Integration Management Office. Qualcomm frequently explores M&A deals to expand into new markets and/or support key initiatives in its technology roadmap. This role will lead the integration of acquired companies across the globe and collaborate with team members of target companies, corporate development, legal and other cross-functional workstreams.

Pay Range And Other Compensation & Benefits
$122,400.00 - $183,600.00
The above pay scale reflects the broad, minimum to maximum, pay scale for this job code for the location for which it has been posted. Even more importantly, please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Qualcomm. We also offer a competitive annual discretionary bonus program and opportunity for annual RSU grants (employees on sales-incentive plans are not eligible for our annual bonus). The role will have 1 direct report based in San Diego, CA and core responsibilities include:
- Oversee financial due diligence, including review of diligence deliverables from target companies, engage and manage external consulting firms as needed, and deliver financial due diligence results to key stakeholders.
- Lead negotiation of key financial deal terms including net working capital and closing payment schedules.
- Review projected financials, monitor liquidity of target companies for funding and support forecasting needs for the business unit finance teams.
- Perform ad hoc analysis and proactively improve business processes that impact all finance workstreams.
- Lead project management activities for various deals, including gathering and reporting project updates for finance workstreams and the integration management office.
- Responsibilities will provide the candidate the opportunity to work closely with the integration management office, corporate development, strategic finance, finance business unit teams and all critical functional workstreams across the accounting organization.
- Proactively identify integration risks and assist in the design and implementation of integration activities.
- Contribute to the development of new concepts, techniques, and making continuous process improvements to the overall finance integration playbook and processes.
- Extensive Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and various other applications used for projects and presentations.
- Successful candidate will be comfortable working in a fast-paced, cross functional environment with the flexibility to manage various projects and deliverables.
- 7-10+ years of relevant experience in a corporate accounting or finance function, external audit, internal audit or FP&A.
- Certified Public Accountant or MBA
- Finance, Accounting, or Reporting related work experience.
- Experience in a role requiring interaction with senior leadership (e.g., Director level and above).
- Experience working in a large matrixed organization.
- Strong communication (oral and written) and presentation skills
- Fast learner with strong interpersonal, organization, analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
- Bachelor's degree.
- 6+ years of Finance, Accounting, or related work experience.
- Completed advanced degrees in a relevant field may be substituted for up to two years (Master’s = one year, Doctorate = two years) of work experience.
