Role Summary:
Seeking a performance-focused engineer to analyze and characterize SoC subsystems with emphasis on memory controller, cache, and interconnect performance. The role involves pre‑silicon performance analysis, bottleneck identification, and close collaboration with architecture and design teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Characterize application and benchmark performance across CPU, GPU, multimedia, NoC, cache, SMMU, and CXL
- Identify system and memory‑controller‑related performance bottlenecks
- Collaborate with architects and design teams on next‑generation memory, cache, and interconnect microarchitecture
- Develop pre‑silicon performance verification strategies, test plans, and workloads
- Build simulation‑scale workloads for SV/UVM‑based pre‑silicon analysis
- Analyze and propose PnP‑friendly and scalable architecture improvements
Required Skills & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering / Computer Science or related field With
- Strong foundation in computer architecture and microarchitecture
- 4–8 years of experience in performance analysis, functional verification, or design
- Experience analyzing blocks such as memory controller, CPU, GPU, NoC, multimedia
- Strong analytical skills to identify system‑level performance bottlenecks
Good to Have:
- Knowledge of DDR/LPDDR, CXL, MMU, graphics pipeline
- Digital design or microarchitecture exposure
- Experience in pre‑silicon performance modeling and analysis
