General Summary
Job Responsibilities
- Perform electrical and physical failure analysis (FA) on semiconductor devices using a broad range of analytical tools and instruments.
- Prepare samples and execute FA workflows to identify defect mechanisms and provide actionable insights to engineering teams.
- Develop and optimize analytical techniques, methodologies, and test recipes to enhance lab capability and efficiency.
- Operate, maintain, and calibrate FA laboratory equipment to support day-to-day operations and meet project timelines.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., Product Test Engineering, RMA Engineering, Process, Design, etc) to interpret FA results and support root-cause investigations.
- Document results, prepare technical reports, and present findings clearly and professionally to stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Materials Engineering, or a related discipline; specialization in semiconductors or microelectronics is preferred.
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on failure analysis experience in the semiconductor industry.
- Experience with ATE/test engineering and/or lab operations is an advantage.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and diagnose device failures.
- Strong communication skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office for reporting and documentation.
- Able to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and prioritize effectively to meet deadlines.
- Positive, eager to learn, detail-oriented, and committed to high-quality work.
- Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
