Key Responsibilities
Cloud Architecture & System Design
- Architect and evolve cloud‑native and hybrid solutions that are scalable, secure, and cost‑effective.
- Translate complex business and technical requirements into robust cloud architectures.
- Define architecture, reference designs, and best practices across the team.
- Review and guide designs related to microservices, APIs, messaging platforms, and data stores.
- Architect, design, and build scalable backend services and RESTful APIs using Java, Spring Boot, Python.
- Develop frontend applications using React, TypeScript, and modern web frameworks.
- Build well‑structured APIs (REST / GraphQL) and reusable service components.
- Ensure code quality, test coverage, documentation, and production readiness.
- Partner on CI/CD pipelines for automated build, test, and deployment.
- Drive cloud cost optimization, performance tuning, and security best practices.
- Act as a technical mentor and guide for junior engineers.
- Collaborate with globally distributed engineering teams.
- Contribute to long‑term technology strategy and platform modernization initiatives.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 8-12 years of experience in software engineering with significant exposure to cloud‑based systems.
- Strong hands‑on experience with at least one major public cloud platform (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Proven experience building and running distributed, production‑scale systems.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently and drive projects execution.
- Solid full‑stack background:
- Backend development (Java, Python)
- Frontend development (React, TypeScript, modern UI frameworks)
- SQL / NoSQL databases, including databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, and Redis.
- Deal with designing systems which can process, transform, and analyze data at scale
- Strong understanding of:
- Microservices architectures
- Cloud security, IAM, networking
- Observability platforms such as Grafana / Prometheus or Datadog.
- Kubernetes and container‑based platforms
- Cloud services such as EC2, EKS, API Gateway, RDS, S3, SQS, IAM, VPC, and Secrets Manager.
- Exposure to streaming platforms, or data/analytics pipelines.
- Proficiency with containerization and orchestration technologies including Docker and Kubernetes, as well as Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform.
