The Multimedia Technologies Program Manager is responsible for end-to-end planning, execution governance, and delivery predictability of Multimedia technology programs across semiconductor platforms and XR product segments.
This role owns Plan of Record (POR) commitments by orchestrating cross-functional execution across multimedia software and hardware stacks, ensuring clear, decision-ready transparency to leadership. The role operates at the intersection of technology depth, execution rigor, and stakeholder leadership, enabling scalable delivery across multiple SoCs, customers, and market segments.

Key Responsibilities
- Program & POR Ownership
- Own end-to-end Multimedia technology planning across lifecycle phases: Pre-silicon → Bring-up → SOD → Customer Ship
- Define, maintain, and drive Multimedia Plan of Record (POR) across system and product cycles.
- Ensure milestone ownership, traceability, and delivery accountability for features and deliverables.
- Drive alignment across multiple Multimedia programs, platforms, and releases.
- Execution Governance
- Drive execution governance across Multimedia workstreams, including:
- Feature request (FR) and scope alignment
- Release readiness and closure reviews
- Dependency and integration tracking
- Proactively identify execution risks, conflicts, and gaps, and drive mitigation to closure.
- Ensure delivery predictability across internal and customer-facing milestones.
- Resource & Capacity Management
- Own resource planning and capacity visibility for Multimedia programs.
- Drive staffing plans, gap analysis, Level-of-Effort (LoE) estimates, and overage tracking.
- Enable program-level cost, capacity, and risk transparency for leadership decision-making.
- Partner with engineering and functional leaders to align resourcing with POR commitments.
- Stakeholder & Leadership Management
- Act as the single point of coordination across:
- Engineering teams (software, hardware, systems)
- Product Management / Technical Product Managers
- Business Unit & Target Program Managers
- Executive leadership
- Provide clear dashboards, execution updates, and executive-level summaries.
- Present trade-offs, escalations, and recommendations with ownership and clarity.
- Process, Metrics & Continuous Improvement
- Define, maintain, and continuously improve Multimedia program KPIs, dashboards, and execution metrics.
- Drive automation, reporting efficiency, and AI/tool adoption where applicable.
- Ensure adherence to internal development, release, and compliance processes.
- Foster consistent execution rigor across geographies, organizations, and partners.
Education
- Minimum: B.E. / B.Tech in Engineering (Electrical, Electronics, Computer Science, or related discipline)
- 12–15+ years of experience in the Hi‑Tech / Semiconductor / Platform Software industry
- Proven experience in Technology Program Management / Engineering Program Management
- Strong exposure to one or more of:
- Multimedia systems (audio, video, display, vision, ISP, graphics)
- Platform software in SoC-based environments
- Cross-layer hardware/software integration
- Strong execution rigor, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to operate at engineering depth and executive altitude
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- Experience managing large, cross-geo, cross-discipline programs
- Comfortable driving ambiguity, scale, and complexity in fast-paced environments
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
- 4+ years of Program Management or related work experience.
