Detailed Project Description

• enable and onboard Generative AI (GenAI) models onto Qualcomm’s hardware and software platforms, ensuring seamless deployment, platform compatibility, accuracy, and performance optimization
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to validate model requirements, dependencies, and platform compatibility.
• Optimize model performance, accuracy, and resource efficiency for scalable deployment.
• Develop, enhance, and maintain model onboarding and validation pipelines.
• Extend Qualcomm AI software platforms and tooling to support new GenAI model architectures and use cases.
• Provide technical support to internal teams and external partners throughout the model enablement lifecycle.
• Troubleshoot and resolve model integration, deployment, and performance issues across hardware and software environments.
  
  
  

Skills / Experience Required

• Strong Python and C/C++ programming skills.
• Hands-on experience designing, implementing, or adapting GenAI models using PyTorch.
• Proven experience in GenAI model deployment, enablement, and quantization.
• Strong proficiency with ML frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, and ONNX Runtime.
• Solid understanding of GenAI model architectures, including Transformer-based models.
• Experience with model deployment or optimization on multi-core systems.
• Strong problem-solving, debugging, and system-level analysis skills.
• Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration abilities.
  
  
  

Education Requirements

Degree Major, GPA, CoursesMaster’s or PhD in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 2+ years of Software Engineering or related work experience.

Master's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 1+ year of Software Engineering or related work experience.

OR

PhD in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.

• 2+ years of academic or work experience with Programming Language such as C, C++, Java, Python, etc.
