Thermosphr is one of Europe's most serious ClimateTech startups. Our software optimises energy management for commercial buildings — offices, shopping centres, universities — with measurable results: over 30% energy savings, 1 million sqm operated, 3,000 tonnes of CO2 avoided.

We are growing fast. We need people who want to understand how systems actually work — not just read dashboards. We raise the roof, not the floor.

The role

This role sits at the intersection of operations and data. You take ownership of a portfolio of live buildings: you identify performance issues, dig into the data to understand where they come from, and resolve them — or escalate with a clear diagnosis when needed.

We don't need someone to surface problems. We need someone to solve them.

What you'll do

Portfolio performance

• Monitor a portfolio of live buildings and detect underperformance: control logic issues, configuration gaps, missing data, equipment problems
• Quantify business impact and determine the right response — remote adjustment, escalation, or handback to the onboarding team
• Maintain a clear view of portfolio health and flag risks proactively

Data & tooling

• Build dashboards, reports, and monitoring tools that give the team visibility across the full portfolio
• Create your own tools when they don't exist — we expect inventiveness, not waiting
• Leverage AI to accelerate prototyping and tool development
• Replace manual processes and legacy files with scalable, usable solutions
• Support other project managers in interpreting their data and acting on it independently

What we're looking for

• Strong data background, with exposure to operational environments — startup experience is a real plus
• You can structure a problem, identify patterns, and communicate findings clearly
• You are comfortable across data tools and adapt to the stack rather than requiring a specific one
• You use AI tools daily to move faster and produce better output
• You are not intimidated by technical depth — understanding how a system actually works, not just what the data shows, is something that draws you in rather than puts you off
• Fluent in English and French
• You see things through to the end and want to solve problems — not just escalate them
• You bring positive energy: there is no shortage of problems, and the mindset we bring to them makes all the difference

You want to understand why something isn't working, not just flag it. When there's a problem, you find the root cause, propose a solution, and see it through. You are not afraid to dig into how a boiler works if that's what it takes to understand the issue.
