Thermosphr is entering a new phase of growth, with ambitious plans to accelerate commercial expansion, scale our organization and broaden our offering.

We are hiring a Head of Finance to build a financial organization capable of supporting and actively shaping this next stage.

The role

Reporting directly to the CEO and working closely with the management team, you will own Thermosphr's finance, controlling, administrative, legal and compliance functions across the group.

Your first priority will be operational excellence: accurate financial information, disciplined processes, effective tools, strong compliance and consistently high standards of documentation.

You will also bring a stronger financial perspective into business decisions, helping us understand margins and resource allocation, improve pricing and productivity, challenge investments and improve pricing and productivity, challenge investments and strengthen performance management across the company.

Key responsibilities
  • Finance & controlling: cash management, budgeting, forecasting, management reporting, billing and receivables, supplier payments, and coordination of accounting and tax matters across France, Germany and Poland, including transfer pricing and intragroup flows.

  • Administration, legal & compliance: corporate matters, HR administration, contracts, insurance, equity-plan administration, documentation, data rooms and regulatory compliance.

  • Business performance: profitability analysis, cost allocation, pricing, business cases, company and team KPIs, productivity, automation and resource-allocation decisions.

  • Business partnering: support Sales on pricing, tenders, customer business cases and major negotiations; work with Operations, Product and Tech on project economics, productivity and investment decisions.

  • Financing & investors: banking relationships, non-dilutive financing, grants and R&D tax incentives, treasury management, Board and investor reporting, and preparation for future financing needs.

  • Strategic projects: financial assessment of new products, services, partnerships, business models and future geographic expansion.

This is an opportunity to build and own a Finance function at an important stage of Thermosphr’s growth. The scope combines hands-on financial leadership with direct exposure to business performance, commercial decisions, investors and strategic projects across several European markets. You will work directly with the CEO and management team and have significant ownership from day one.

We are looking for a high-potential finance professional, with 4–8 years of experience in a demanding environment such as Transaction Services, Deal Advisory, M&A, audit, financial or strategy consulting, FP&A / Strategic Finance, or Finance within a high-growth company.

More important than a specific background, we are looking for:

  • outstanding analytical capabilities and business judgment;

  • very high standards of rigor and execution;

  • a pragmatic, hands-on approach;

  • strong ownership and the ability to drive issues through to resolution;

  • the ability to move from strategic analysis to detailed financial, tax or administrative matters;

  • strong financial modeling and controlling skills;

  • comfort with modern Finance tools, automation and AI;

  • the ability to work effectively across commercial, operational and technical teams;

  • intellectual curiosity and fast learning;

  • fluency in French and full professional proficiency in English, German a plus

Experience in an international environment is a plus. Previous experience in real estate or energy is not required.
