Roles & Responsibilities:

• Leading the Strategic Sourcing at a global level for electronics components, battery, motors, sensors and computing systems.
• Obsolescence management of electronic components.
• Work in partnership with engineering teams to develop an approved and qualified supply base
• New Product development by using tools like PPAP
• Working with EMS supplier for PCBA assembly
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with key suppliers.
• Coordinating with finance/accounting on matters involving inventory, cost savings and cash flow management.
• Working with suppliers to ensure they have enough capacity to support our demand as well as supply continuity risk management plans. Implement “Advanced Inventory concepts” to improve our MOQ and lead time.

Requirements:

• 3-8 years of overall experience in industries such as Semiconductor, Electrical Equipment, Industrial Automation and Engineering Services.
• Sourcing experience of both Components (Sensors and Actuators), Sub-assembly category (Conveyor systems) , batteries, Active and Passive Electronic components
• Experience in strategic planning - setting vision and objectives, creating strategies,forecasting, budgeting, vendor development, vendor performance.
• Really good Analytical, Presentation, Negotiation and Communication skills.

Good to Have:

• Experience as fulfillment leader in an international environment.
• Experience working with electronic components distributors like Arrow /Avnet /Future /Mouser /Digikey
• Negotiations skill

Eligible candidates:

• Desired Qualification: B.E. or B. Tech from relevant domains (Electronics/Electrical//Power Electronics) or bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, engineering, or a related field from an accredited college/university.
• Work Experience: 3-8 years
