About the Role
We are looking for a strategic, hands-on Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead our finance function. As a core member of the leadership team, you will play a critical role in shaping our financial strategy, managing investor relationships, and ensuring strong financial governance to support our next phase of growth in our journey towards IPO.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Lead strategic finance & planning
- Drive long-term financial strategy aligned with company goals
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes
- Define financial operations & controls
- Oversee accounting, taxation, compliance, audits, and internal controls
- Ensure timely and accurate financial closure and reporting
- Lead fundraising & investor management
- Lead due diligence and audits
- Oversee financial models and prepare investor decks and reports
- Manage working capital, cash flow, risk assessment and risk management
- Optimize capital structure and manage relationships with banks/lenders/financial service providers
- Set up cost optimization frameworks and support pricing decisions
- Manage fund raise by reaching out to PE / VC / institutional investors (foreign and domestic)
Requirements:
- Proven experience of more than 10 years as CFO in a startup or high-growth environment
- Strong knowledge of financial regulations, accounting principles, and compliance
- Experience managing fundraising processes beyond Series B Equity, Debt, Grants, Govt subsidy etc)
- Experienced in M&A, acquisitions, JV strategies
- Ability to handle Indian and global subsidiaries
- Experience in international financial management, fund raising, debt raising and taxation
Good to Have:
- Experience in scaling companies from growth stage to IPO
- Experience in scaling of business operations in India and abroad
Eligible Candidates:
- Desired Qualification: CA/MBA (Finance) or equivalent qualification
- Work Experience: 15+ years of experience
