Roles & Responsibilities:
- Planning, design, development and testing of electronics subsystems required for AGV (Autonomous Guided Vehicle) / AMR (Autonomous Mobile Robot)
- Understand product requirements and define hardware architecture for embedded systems
- Design of analog, digital, mixed signal circuits, dc-dc converters, voltage level-translators, differential amplifiers, voltage and current sensing circuits and high speed interfaces like USB, Ethernet, CAN-bus
- Design of circuits considering signal integrity, power integrity, power management, noise immunity, and environmental considerations and relevant IEC / ISO standards
- Selection of components like microcontrollers, MOSFETs, PHY ICs, connectors etc. to meet the product requirements
- Quick prototyping and testing of circuits and components. Support for debugging and troubleshooting of existing PCBs
- Collaborate with firmware, mechanical design, product design teams for electronics hardware and harness integration.
- Collaborate with the supply chain team and vendors for the sourcing of raw materials, manufacturing, cost optimization, engineering change notices
- Track industry technology trends, interact with other technology teams. Provides technical expertise for next generation initiatives.
- Ensure the design adheres to DFMEA / DFM / DFA principles and maintain engineering documentation, change management and technical records.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in electronic engineering or equivalent
- 3+ years of experience in development of electronics product design
- Experience with PCB design tools like Altium Designer or equivalent software
- Skilled in creating block diagrams, schematics, design calculations, BOMs
- Practical exposure to hardware debugging and testing.
- Experience in designing electronics products with compliance to CE, UL, FCC standards
- Basic understanding of functional safety standards like IEC 61508, ISO 26262, ISO 13849
- Knowledge of EMI/EMC compliance standards like IEC 61000
- Hands‑on experience in the lab using equipment such as DSO, Power Analyzer, Logic Analyzer etc
- Good communication skills with the ability to document work clearly and collaborate effectively with cross‑functional and global teams.
Eligible candidates:
- BE / B. Tech in Electronics or equivalent relevant work experience
