Here at Sciensus our compounding unit is seeking an 'operative' to join our 5th Avenue site.

By joining us as ‘compounding unit operator’ you will be involved in the aseptic manufacturing of medical products that are supplied to our patients and customers.

Following good manufacturing practices, your daily tasks will include inspecting, labelling and packing finished products, ensuring adequate stock is available and identifying discrepancies. Throughout this process you will follow a strict sterile regime which requires continued PPE changes and wipe downs of all surfaces.

These are full-time roles based in our Burton on Trent compounding unit, working 40hrs per week on the following rotational shifts.

Week 1 - 6am – 2pm, Mon- Fri
Week 2 - 1pm – 9pm, Mon – Thursday and 11am – 7pm, Friday

What is required?

For this role we require someone with a positive working attitude that understands the importance of working to strict regulations. You must have a good eye for detail, enjoy autonomous working environments and be flexible to cover all working patterns.

Experience within a pharmaceutical or hospital setting would be an advantage.

Due to the sterile nature of this role we are unable to employ anyone that has on-going skin conditions.
