Why this role matters

As a Logistics Night Shift Assistant, you’ll play a key role in ensuring medicines and clinical supplies move efficiently through our distribution network—helping us deliver a reliable, high-quality service when it matters most.
This is a hands-on role at the heart of our Clinical Logistics operation, supporting overnight depot activities to keep everything running smoothly and safely.
What you’ll be doing
Assisting with maintenance scheduling and compliance management across the distribution centre
Managing driver manifests (printed and electronic) and maintaining trunking logs
Monitoring driver attendance, reporting late/no shows, and supporting replacement arrangements
Unloading and reloading trunk vehicles, ensuring all consignments are accurately counted and recorded
Sorting, scanning, and organising parcels and returns for onward delivery
Handling returned items, including sharps bins, and ensuring correct storage processes are followed
Ensuring all depot documentation is completed and returned correctly
Maintaining a clean, safe working environment across all depot areas
Who we’re looking for
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, operational environment
Able to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
Competent with Microsoft Office and general IT systems
Flexible and reliable, with a proactive approach to supporting overnight operations
Warehouse or logistics experience is desirable
A full, clean driving licence is desirable
