Founders’ Associate (£50-60K)

London-based and office-focused - we work from WeWork Aldwych 4 days per week, and face-to-face collaboration is core to our culture and success

About the Role

The litigation landscape is changing forever thanks to generative AI, and we're at the forefront of this transformation. We're looking for a highly capable, entrepreneurial Founders' Associate to work directly with our CEO and CTO as we scale Wexler's platform for expert litigators across the world's top law firms.
This is a unique opportunity to be at the centre of a fast-growing legal AI startup, working on the commercial engine that drives our explosive growth. You'll spend 80% of your time supporting our CEO on sales, marketing, and go-to-market initiatives, and 20% supporting our CTO on technical operations and product-adjacent activities. This role offers unparalleled exposure to every aspect of building a category-defining company from the ground up.
As one of our earliest hires, you'll have direct influence on our strategic direction and the opportunity to build processes that will scale with our growth trajectory. You'll work directly with partners and senior associates at top-tier law firms, helping shape how they adopt and win with litigation AI.

What you'll do

You'll be the strategic right-hand to our founding team, driving commercial growth while ensuring operational excellence across our most critical business functions.

Lead generation and pipeline development - research prospects, identify key decision makers at target law firms, and build comprehensive account intelligence
Sales enablement - create pitch decks, case studies, and competitive intelligence materials that help close deals with elite law firms
Deal support - participate in client calls, prepare meeting materials, and follow up on commercial opportunities
CRM management - maintain our sales pipeline, track deal progression, and ensure accurate forecasting
Market research - analyse competitive landscape, pricing strategies, and emerging opportunities in legal AI
Marketing & Brand (30% of role)
Conference strategy and execution - identify key legal tech conferences, manage booth presence, coordinate speaking opportunities, and drive lead generation
Content creation - develop thought leadership content, case studies, and marketing materials that resonate with legal professionals
Event management - organise client events, product demos, and partnership announcements
PR and communications - support media relations and coordinate with external agencies
Operations & Technical Support (20% of role)
InfoSec and compliance - complete security questionnaires, manage SOC 2 compliance, and coordinate with legal teams on data protection requirements
Partnership operations - support technical integrations, manage vendor relationships, and coordinate with third-party providers
Product feedback coordination - gather client requirements, synthesize feature requests, and communicate market needs to the CTO
Technical documentation - create user guides, implementation playbooks, and training materials
Data analysis - track usage metrics, analyse client adoption patterns, and prepare executive reports

What you bring

You understand that legal AI represents a fundamental shift in how the world's most sophisticated legal professionals approach their work. You thrive in ambiguous, fast-paced environments where your contributions directly impact company growth and client success. You're equally comfortable preparing for partner meetings as you are diving into technical compliance requirements.
We're looking for:
1-2 years of experience in top-tier consulting (MBB, Big 4, or boutique strategy firms) or high-growth tech startups, with a demonstrated track record of exceptional performance and rapid learning.
Outstanding academic credentials from a top-tier university - we're looking for someone who combines intellectual rigour with entrepreneurial drive and can quickly master complex concepts.
Proven hustle and execution ability - you've demonstrated you can take ownership, work independently, and deliver results in ambiguous, fast-paced environments.
Commercial acumen and business instincts - you understand how B2B sales works, can spot opportunities, and have the confidence to engage with senior professionals.
Relentless work ethic and attention to detail - you're someone who gets things done without being asked twice, takes pride in quality work, and thrives under pressure.
High intellectual curiosity and learning velocity - you can quickly understand complex software products, navigate technical documentation, and get up to speed on new domains rapidly.
Sharp analytical and research skills - you can quickly synthesise market intelligence, competitive analysis, and client feedback into actionable insights.
True startup mentality - you're genuinely excited by ambiguity, rapid iteration, and the opportunity to build something from the ground up in a category-defining market. You want to be part of something big.
Genuine AI enthusiasm - you're not just riding the wave, you're genuinely excited about the potential of AI to transform professional services and eager to learn about the technical aspects of our platform.
London-based and office-focused - we work from WeWork Aldwych 4 days per week, and face-to-face collaboration is core to our culture and success.
