About the Role

Role Purpose

Own the cosmetic product at Worldover.

About Worldover

Worldover™ is building the AI operating system for substance-based companies. One platform that replaces the tangle of PLM, ERP, regulatory, formulation, and quality tools that chemicals, cosmetics, food, pharma, and supplements companies have stitched together over decades.

Three things make it work. Composable software blocks (CRM, SDS, PLM, ERP, compliance) that get configured to each customer instead of forcing them into a generic mould. A single customer data layer that holds every raw material, formulation, product, and packaging record in one structured home. And Willow, our chemical intelligence engine, sitting underneath every workflow with the domain knowledge to make agentic AI actually safe in regulated environments.

The platform is already live with names like HUDA Beauty, Kayali, The White Company, ICONIC London, Hallstar, and Cosmoproject. We’re backed by Index Ventures, Entrepreneur First, and Chalfen Ventures, and we’re hiring across the company as we go deeper into chemicals and expand across food, pharma, and specialty chemicals.

The role

We’re hiring a Product Manager to own a product vertical at Worldover.

Cosmetics is our deepest vertical and the one we’re building out hardest right now. The platform needs a single owner for what ‘great’ looks like for a customer: which templates ship, which workflows are standard, how raw material and formulation data is structured, what Willow knows about CLP and REACH and GHS, and where the product needs to go next. That’s this job.

You’ll be the first vertical PM at Worldover. Over time we expect a small team of these, one per industry we serve, with cosmetics first and likely food next.

What you’ll be doing

Own the cosmetics template library.

  • Build the templates; you’ll prototype / develop and then work with engineering to productionise the templates.

  • Every workflow, data model, classification scheme, and document template that ships to a chemicals customer goes through you. You decide what’s in the standard library, what’s configurable per customer, and what we build next.

Sit at the centre of the cosmetic product.

  • Work with our product implementation team (who configure the platform for customers), engineering (who build the software blocks), and the Willow team (who own the chemical intelligence layer). Consolidate the feedback. Spot the patterns. Push for the changes that move the needle. Say no to the ones that won’t.

Talk to customers constantly.

  • You’ll develop the map of the various personas of the customers within the market - and how we are best able to position the product and ensure we have strong product market fit for each.

Be the bridge between domain and product.

  • Translate ‘this is how a senior regulatory lead at a contract manufacturer actually thinks about a new formulation’ into roadmap, specs, and shipped software.

Who you are

Product

  • You’ve worked in product, ideally building and selling SaaS.

Mid-to-senior.

  • 3-5+ years across chemicals and product combined, though depth matters more than years. No people management experience required.

Opinionated but not precious.

  • You’ll have strong views on what cosmetics customers need. You’ll change them when the evidence says you should.

You want to own something.

  • This is not a role for someone who wants a defined backlog handed to them. The cosmetic product is yours to shape.

Why we think this role is interesting

You’ll have unusual large leverage; through the power of our WorldMaker platform you are able to directly implement the vast majority of changes / improvements. Unlike in most organisations you are not beholden to the engineering road map - you have real power to make change yourself.

You’ll also work with one of the more interesting AI products in the enterprise space. Willow is not a wrapper around a foundation model. It’s a real chemical intelligence engine with proprietary corpus, evaluation frameworks, and a tight integration to live customer data.

You’ll have a direct say in what it knows and how it shows up across the platform.

Requirements

  • 3 - 5 years product mangement experience
  • Complex B2B Enterprise Software
  • AI Native - you extensively use AI in your workflows
